Today we don't have any class. However, we all having a presentation speech by the guest speaker named Ms Chong Yong Yee, which the Founder of DesignTinker. She talk about what is design thinking and it have two perspectives in it which are mindset and step. On the mindset part, there are total of four mindsets which are human-centred, unlearn and relearn, creative confidence and make it tangible.

The steps of design thinking are empathise (which is to understand the people, within the context of the design challenge), define (is to bring clarity and focus to what going to design), ideate (to concentrate solely on idea generation), prototype (this is to create low resolution model of the solution) and test (and this actually to gain feedback about the prototypes that designed which is from the people that you design for). The mindset design thinking is in reality is non-liner and sometimes it could be messy as well. There are also two sides of design and designers are the key to unlock good design which are finding the problem and creating the solution of it through the steps of design thinking. What is actually design thinking is a human centred problem solving approach, using the mindset of a designer and focusing on empathy with the people they are designing for.
