Today we don't have any Co-Exists class. However, Mr Kevin wanted us to take a look at a video film named Design Disruptors at our own time and then write a blog about it. The film is quite long and almost around 1 hour and 10 minutes. There are a few key points that I found it useful and interesting in the film which are design is a thin layer, that connects complexity to meaning. Designer thinks about solving problems for people and works really closely with technology and business constraints to bring those ideas to life. And also, designers like to make design beautiful, that spend all the time doing it, but often that's not the right thing to do.
There are also a couple of aspects of how it relates to my project development that design is human which is we not artificially create something just for the sake of it, but it stems from something that people actually need and want. It's not about does it have drop shadows, is it pretty, is it skeuomorphic, it's more about the connection I have to it. It's not the nitty gritty and using design software tools that you want, it's the act of intentionally solving problems. Not only that, design is to not only to look at it, but remedy all of those little things that happen to get wrong along the way.
The summary of the film about is great design is a multi-layered relationship between human life and its environment.
